Send Payment Request

Staff have the ability to send payment requests to participants via sms or email. The recipient will receive a link that does not require login, but will allow the participant to click and make a quick payment on any balance due.



1) Permissions

Sending a payment request is permission restricted. Users or groups must be assigned permission to send a payment request under:

Operate - People & Groups - Permissions - Communication Tab




2) Create Payment Request

Select one or more balances owed and a Send Payment Request chip will appear. The chip should appear on the following screens:

  • Account - Balances tab
  • Calendar Event Popup - Financial tab
  • Balance Tracker under Operate - Financial
  • Reservations on the Multi-Reservation Booking screen that have open balances



3) What the Recipient Sees

The recipient will receive a simple payment form that will display appropriately for either a desktop browser or phone. They simply enter their credit card info and submit.


Please note: Currently, because we are not forcing the user to login, we are NOT currently displaying any identifiable information to the user. This protects you in the event you send the invoice to the wrong number. We are working on  the ability to have the recipient login to see the full details of his/her payment request
