Creating Resident and Non-Resident Fees

Once the "Residents" group is created, the group can be applied to an Item's fee in the Pricing Eligibility tab.

Step 1: Create the Resident Fee (Restricted to Residents Group)

  1. Navigate to Pricing: From the "Item Edit" screen, click on the "Pricing" tab.

Add Price: Click the green "Add New Price" button.

    Set Amount & Label:

    • Enter the Amount field.
    • Label the fee as "Resident Fee" in the Price Label field.
    • Click "Save Price."

Set Eligibility:

    • Click the "Price Eligibility" tab at the top of the window.
    • Under "Group Eligibility," click the green "Add Group" button.
    • In the search bar, type "Residents" and hit Search.
    • Check the box for "Residents (Custom Group)" and click "Select Group(s)."
    • Click "Save Eligibility Requirements" and close the window.

Step 2: Create the Non-Resident Fee (Not restricted to any groups)

  1. Add Second Price: Back on the main pricing screen, click "Add New Price" again.

    Set Amount & Label:

    • Enter the Amount field.
    • Label the fee as "Non-Resident Fee" in the Price Label field.
    • Click "Save Price."

Confirm Eligibility (Open to All):

    • Click the "Price Eligibility" tab.
    • Click "Save Eligibility Requirements" and close the window.

For Non-Resident Fees, leave the Group Eligibility section blank, which will default the price to "Available to everyone" (capturing anyone who isn't logged in as a resident).

Save: Your screen will reflect two pricing tiers labeled "Resident Fee" and "Non-Resident Fee."
